Abstract

This paper uses the performance data on the national university science park (USP) from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of S&T, the paper empirically examines the effects of university ranking on its affiliated science parks. The results show that university ranking has positive and significant effect on USP performance, and scientific research capability play a key role. The findings imply that USP depends heavily on its mother universities. The theoretical and practical implications are discussed, and future research avenues are concluded.
