Abstract
Abstract The survey showed the following results: Television was the prime source of political information; There exists a significant relationship between independent variables such as age, sex and media usage. Evaluation of political outputs: Political party showed the strongest relationship with regard to the mentioned political outputs. Evaluation of political leaders: The present State President, relative to other mentioned South African political leaders, past and present, was indicated as the most capable person to be State President as well as the political leader of greatest significance compared to the other mentioned persons.
