Abstract
The exact universal mapping for particle dynamics in the wide wave-packet field is obtained. The region of stochastic motion and kinetic equation are determined. It is shown that a limitation on the stochastic heating does exist in the packets with discrete spectrum. Exact conditions for applicability of the quasilinear plasma theory are established.
