Essay| August 01 1957 United States Aid in the Middle East Don Peretz Don Peretz Director of Research, Regional Research Analysts. N.B.C. correspondent in the Middle East, 1947-1948, Don Peretzhas also served as Middle East correspondent for the United Nations World Magazine, 1949-1952. In 1952 he was Middle East analyst for the Department of State (V.O.A.), and in 1952-1954 was in the Middle East on a Ford Foundation grant. At present Mr. Peretz is lecturer on the Middle East, Dropsie College, and consultant for the American Jewish Committee in this field.
