Abstract

We investigate the possibility to explain a light Higgs scalar with enhanced coupling to b quarks within the framework of supersymmetric models with a minimal Higgs content. We obtain unique predictions for masses and couplings of all Higgses in the theory. A low Higgs mass m H = 8.3 GeV implies a light pseudoscalar with mass m p ∼ 8.5 GeV, testable at present e +e −-machines. Assuming gauginos to be light we present further estimates of the masses of winos, higgsinos and scalar partners of quarks and leptons, i.e. we derive upper bounds for the higgsino and sneutrino masses of 40 GeV and 25 GeV, respectively.
