Abstract
In accordance with the announced plans, the Twenty‐Second Regional Meeting of the Union was held in the Engineering Building, University of California, Berkeley, California, February 13 and 14, 1048. On the morning of February 13, a meeting was held on Oceanography, and a combined one on Hydrology and Meteorology. In the afternoon, there were separate sessions in Hydrology and Meteorology. In the late afternoon, a visit was made to the 184‐inch cyclotron of the University. On the morning of February 14, there were two sessions, one on Oceanography and Meteorology, and one on Hydrology. Thirty‐one papers were presented, many of which will be published in subsequent issues of the Transactions. Formal registration included 149 names; the sessions were well attended.
