Abstract

The diffusion coefficients in molten salts and molten salt mixtures are fundamental to the development of advanced nuclear energy systems and pyroprocessing systems of spent fuels. However, the diffusion coefficients are notorious for their orders of magnitude disagreement among the various resources of the data. In the present work, the sources of experimental errors are analyzed and the diffusion coefficients from various resources are unified. Finally, the activation energies for diffusion coefficients are optimized and recommended.
