Abstract

Taking the two-local-spin-mediated interaction as a Cooper pairinteraction, using the BCS (Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer) gap equationand the phase-coherence condition for quantum phase fluctuation,this paper explains basic experimental findings concerning bothp-type La2-xSrxCuO4 (LSCO) and n-typeNd2-xCexCuO4 (NCCO) at the same time, and predicts thatthe pseudogap should be clearly observed for underdoped NCCO.
