Abstract

We exploit the peculiar relation between color and flavor degrees of freedom, which emerges from the use of anticommuting variables, to propose a unified description of quarks and leptons. The description leads naturally to unified groups such as SU(5) and O(10), and allows a simple graphical representation of the dynamics. We also comment on possible extensions to include many families.
