Abstract

In the DC/DC converter composed of a primary H-bridge converter, a high-frequency transformer and an H- bridge diodes rectifier, the dc conversion ratio and transformer utilization factor are low values. This paper presents a unidirectional isolated high-frequency-link DC-DC converter using soft switching technique. In this paper, the dc conversion ratio and transformer utilization factor are improved by the resonance capacitors connected to the secondary diodes in parallel. The behavior and design of the proposed converter are explained. The effectiveness of the proposed converter is verified by simulation and experiments using 1 kW, 20 kHz laboratory prototype.
