Abstract

Meckel's diverticulum is an uncommon source of abdominal pain and rectal bleeding in adults. Only 2% ever develop complications. Heterotopic mucosa, most commonly gastric or pancreatic, is present in about 50% and correlates with increased risk of symptoms, commonly intussusception, and so less GI bleeding. Here we present a case which may have had both.
