Abstract
A new species of Paradromius from La Réunion Island (Coleoptera, Carabidae, Dromiusini). Paradromius (Manodromius) mascarenicus n. sp. is described from La Réunion Island. It is the first Paradromius species recorded from this island as well as from the whole austral hemisphere. It belongs to the phyletic lineage of Manodromius, with the closest related species living far in North Africa and in the Middle East area.
