Abstract

AbstractFoot dermatophytoses including intertrigo and onychomycoses are common superficial infections in the general population. If the diagnosis is often suspected based on the clinical presentation, the following observation illustrates how can be easy the confusion between Tinea pedis and non-infectious dermatological disorders. Epidemiological context, meticulous overall clinical examination and mycological confirmation on local samples are the mainstay of appropriate therapeutic management.
