Abstract
Aegomorphus francottei, a new species of Cerambycidae for the French fauna (Coleoptera) Aegomorphus francottei, species closely related to A. clavipes and known from the Balkans, is recorded from several places in central and southern France as well as in Rumania. Genitalia and main external morphological features which allow the identification are indicated and illustrated. Knowledge about other forms and species of European and Turkish Aegomorphus are discussed.
