Abstract

Acrodermatitis chronica atrophicans is a manifestation of late disseminated Lyme borreliosis with an initial inflammatory or oedematous phase followed by definitive skin atrophy without treatment. The right knowledge of its initial inflammatory presentation, as well as the availability of confirmatory diagnostic tests and its treatment allow an early management.
