Abstract

A pulsed wire system was constructed and used for undulator magnetic field measurements. The use of a novel type of optical detector significantly simplifies the system. Results of magnetic field measurements obtained with the pulsed wire method and with Hall probes are compared, and the high accuracy obtainable with the system is demonstrated.
