Abstract

Underwater acoustic multiuser communication produces multiple access interference and multi-path interference. Blind adaptive multiuser detection algorithm based on Least Mean Square (LMS) is proposed to solve the two interference problems. Virtual multiuser inspection machine is designed that consider the multi-path signal as the same as other interference users. Projection theorem is used to build multiuser detector. The interference effect is simulated by changing user number and signal to interference ratio. The field experiments were carried out in Bohai sea and at its ice of period, the good experiment results have verified the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
