Abstract

We study the observed ${B}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}X(3823){K}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ decay via the rescattering mechanism and show that this branching ratio is well reproduced by this mechanism. We further extend this theoretical framework to investigate the decays of ${B}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c2}({^{1}D}_{2})/{\ensuremath{\psi}}_{3}({^{3}D}_{3}){K}^{\ensuremath{-}}$, where the ${\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c2}({^{1}D}_{2})$ and the ${\ensuremath{\psi}}_{3}({^{3}D}_{3})$ are $D$-wave charmonium partners of the $X(3823)$. Our results show that the branching ratios, ${B}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\eta}}_{c2}({^{1}D}_{2}){K}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ and ${B}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\psi}}_{3}({^{3}D}_{3}){K}^{\ensuremath{-}}$, are of the order of ${10}^{\ensuremath{-}5}$, which can be accessible at LHCb, Belle and forthcoming BelleII.
