Abstract

Abstract Globalization and technological innovation have made transcultural communication more effective and more extensive. Media from Global South is challenging the traditional Western dominance with diffusion of information and ideas in fresh perspectives, spreading information and cultural products outwards while receiving them from Global North. Al Jazeera transformed the political and strategic environment by offering graphic footage and opinions to break stereotypes, change the narrative, and connect people across cultures. This article aims to analyze the transcultural journalistic practices of Al Jazeera and explore the power of transcultural communication and its impact on international politics.
