Abstract

ABSTRACT Thermoelectric Generators (TEG) have come to the picture in recent days among the widely accepted techniques of thermal management that improvises the modular efficiency and hence generates significant amount of power by reutilising the solar insolation which has been lost during photoelectric conversion. Hence, for ensuring the reliability of the grid; hysteresis current controlled techniques have been implemented for the voltage source inverters (VSI). This paper depicts a relative comparison among the tradition hysteresis current controller (THCC) and Amended hysteresis current controller (AHCC). The AHCC is found to be useful in avoidance of short circuit of DC link voltage, reduction in current overshooting and undershooting and lesser switching per cycle. Finally, the comparative study has been done for three systems namely constant DC integrated; solar PV integrated and reposed replaceable thermoelectric coupled solar PV system. This proposed system yields higher active power delivery and lesser reactive power absorbance by the system. The entire system is analyzed, studied and verified under MATLAB/SIMULINK environment.
