Abstract
There has been an unusual rise in respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) cases this summer as everybody started mixing again after COVID-19 restrictions relaxed and children went back to school. This article will discuss the virus in further detail with regards to how it presents, why there has been a surge, what the current situation is in the UK, and what the complications of the virus are.
