Abstract

Success in various life tasks is tied to level of intelligence of an individual. Intelligence has been divided into various types or aspects, each one having influence on an individual’s personal and work related outcomes. On the basis of past literature the current paper intends to trace the evolution of different types of intelligence; right from cognitive intelligence to spiritual intelligence. It also highlights how these different types of intelligence affect various organizational outcomes like job performance, job satisfaction, turnover intentions and commitment. Thereby, different forms of intelligence significantly influence the overall productivity of the individual employees and various other work place related outcomes.
