Abstract
Abstract This article presents a model-based analysis of the influence of traction on the Eigen behaviour of torsional vibrations in individual-wheel drives (IWDs) of a high-performance road vehicle. As a significant motivation, measurement samples from test drives are presented and representative vibration behaviours are highlighted. For the analysis, linearised models representing the interaction of an IWD with traction are utilised. The significance of the analysis results is demonstrated through comparisons with the measurement samples and corresponding interpretations.
