Abstract
The idea to understand in general the dynamics of social science research did not emerge abruptly. This long pending interest for understanding the peculiarities attached to social science research was articulated while thinking what could be the probable topics suited for a short qualitative enquiry. No qualitative study based on the life and career experiences of the research scholars in the field of social sciences was found. Thus, this provided me a scope of getting into this qualitative enquiry and to understand the entire issue from the perspective of social science research scholars.
