Understanding the correlation between extraction and luminescence behavior of Eu(iii) in a biphasic system in the presence of Co-extracting metal ions

Abstract

The presence of co-extracting metal ions significantly impacts the extraction as well as the luminescence behavior of Eu(iii) in a biphasic extraction system. Correlating both behaviors unveils some of the fundamental facts of Eu(iii) coordination.
