Abstract
The current policies and strategies on hand hygiene, and the current management view on the influence of facility design, operations, and management on hand hygiene were documented through a series of interviews with personnel in key management positions. The study proposes for the need for better planning and management of hand hygiene resources by encouraging interdisciplinary dialogues between various groups of healthcare providers to mitigate potential infectious disease control issues and facility operational challenges.
