Abstract
This article develops some themes in relation to young people and confidentiality by focusing on recent guidance from the Department of Health. The Child and Adolescent Faculty of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, Julian Sheather and Rebecca Mussell from the BMA, and Colin Hawkes and Eileen Vizard from the Young Abusers Project greatly assisted.
