Abstract
Uncertainty estimates and estimates of correlation between cross sections at different energies of the respective excitation functions were derived for the European Fusion File (EFF) for the main isotopes of the structural materials Cr, Fe and Ni. The estimates are based on a comparison of the EFF results with the corresponding results of other recently evaluated neutron cross section files, especially ENDF/B-VI, JENDL-3 and BROND, and a comparison with new high-quality measurements published after the literature cutoff of the EFF file. A test of the results has been possible by comparison to our experimental evaluation of 14 MeV cross sections also reported at this conference.
