Abstract

We study the impact of phase and amplitude uncertainties on the estimated properties of a material measured with ATR THz-TDS. In addition, we investigate the deviation of the refractive index and extinction coefficient due to the small angular misalignment of the prism used in ATR THz-TDS. We also propose a modified configuration for ATR THz-TDS to reduce the impact of amplitude and phase uncertainties as well as of small angular misalignment.
