Abstract

Anisakidosis is an emerging zoonosis, uncommon in our country yet probably underdiagnosed. However, infestation of fish usually consumed is frequent. We report a case of anisakidosis after ingestion of undercooked fish, treated by larval extraction. Prevention is essential in order to avoid an increase in cases due to changes in dietary habits.
