Abstract

This article focuses on about the first period of a republican newspaper La Voz de Guipuzcoa (1885-1936) and the people linked to that newspaper of San Sebastian. Building a republican sentiment was the main goal of La Voz which had to do so in a province where most of the society (included all statements) was under the control of the carlist traditionalism, since the I Republic. This research has studied, using the political biography, two agents, one specific, as was the newspaper, and the other, more diffuse, as the people linked to It.
