Abstract
Combien de gènes dans le génome humain? On ne le sait pas encore: entre 30 000 et 120 000… la fourchette est large! Les dernières estimations penchent plutôt pour un chiffre bas, qui redéfinirait notre vision de la biologie et de l'évolution: car la complexité de l'organisme humain ne serait plus le résultat d'un nombre très important de gènes, mais d'une plus grande complexité dans l'interaction des gènes entre eux.
