Abstract
Es wird der Fall einer 31-jährigen Patientin berichtet, bei der im Juli 1999 eine schubförmig remittierende Multiple Sklerose (MS) diagnostiziert wurde. Die Diagnose wurde durch positive Befunde im Liquor, MRT und den klinisch-neurologischen Befund bestätigt. In der vorliegenden Kasuistik wird die Vorgehensweise bei Unverträglichkeit der Basistherapie mit Interferon β-1a beschrieben. Sie zeigt, dass es sich durchaus lohnen kann, das Beta-Interferon-Präparat bei Unverträglichkeiten auszutauschen, um eine erfolgreiche und langfristig stabile Therapie zu erreichen.
