Abstract

In a networked economy, ‘Organizational Knowledge’ has become critical to every organization, as a resource, which should be managed, and as a support for development, sustainability and innovation; enhancing also Human Resources pro-activity by its acquisition and sharing. Following Strauss and Corbin’s guidelines, this paper presents the outcomes of the open coding of empirical materials, which correlate the organizational phenomena of ‘Shared Services’ and ‘e-Learning’, as instruments of Organizational Knowledge Management. This article aims to demonstrate the existence of correlations among the studied aggregators, as well as a standardization tendency in the approaches pursued among the different organizations. This work follows a previous research study which aimed the construction of an Organizational Knowledge Management model, in the context of Shared Services using e Learning, the “Delta + Model”. This was a qualitative research study, with a constructivist nature, supported by the Grounded Theory methodology and Nonaka’s Knowledge Creation Theory. It is possible to verify a high similarity among the approaches of the six organizations analysed, and verified that the results of most correlations are strong or very strong, with a tendency to 1.
