Abstract

In the present paper, two ultra-wide multiplexing techniques are processed in high-speed optical communication cables for the ultimate bit rate repeater spacing product, namely ultra-wide wavelength division multiplexing (UWWDM) and ultra-wide space-division multiplexing (UWSDM). A parametric Raman amplifier is employed plus erbium-doped fiber amplifier (EDFA). Four advanced transmission methods are investigated namely modified Shannon capacity, soliton propagation, maximum time division multiplexing (MTDM) and nonlinear chirping propagation with squeezed dispersion in single mode-binary glass fiber. 4000 channels are (UWWDM) processed in core up to 150 links (UWSDM).
