Abstract

This paper describes the main stages of the development of spectroscopic observations in the UV region, carried out by extra-atmospheric methods to solve astrophysical problems. The current state and the development prospects of the technique of observations with high spectral resolution are characterized. The main characteristics of a complex including a space-based high-resolution UV spectrograph planned jointly by Germany and Russia for observations using the T-170M space telescope are presented. The channel for observations in the 170-320-nm region is considered in more detail.
