Abstract
Three poly(dialkyl fumarate)s with i-propyl (PDiPF), tert-butyl (PDtBF) and cyclo-hexyl (PDcHF) substituents formed stable Langmuir films on a pure water subphase. The mono layer thickness of LB film deposited on a substrate was determined to be 0.85, 1.0 and 1.2 nm, resp. Metal/Insulator/Metal cells of [Indium-tin oxide Nesa glass/monolayer-LB/A1] showed non-linear current-voltage curves characteristic to tunnel diodes.
