Abstract

The fine structure and distribution of cholinesterase (ChE) activity in the ventral nerve cord of the earthworm (Lumbricus terrestris) was studied, using acetyl- and butyrylthiocholine iodides as substrates and iso-OMPA, 284C51 and eserine as inhibitors to discriminate between acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and other cholinesterase (ns.ChE) activities.
