Abstract

Objective: The ciliary processes are the site of aqueous formation, and are thus intimately connected with maintenance of intraocular pressure. We have previously described visualization and measurement of flow in the iris using swept and M-mode techniques applied to data from a 38-MHz PVDF transducer. However, visualization of flow in the deeper, minute vessels of the ciliary processes was difficult to achieve. Our aim was to develop methods for visualization of blood flow in the processes.
