Abstract
Abstract Ultrasound absorption has been measured in binary mixtures of phenol with carbontetrachloride and cyclohexane covering the complete concentration range at 20, 30, 40, and 50 °C. Absorption maxima in dilute phenolic solutions are interpreted as arising from cyclic association of phenol to trimers or tetramers.
