Abstract

A simple method of ultrasonic fatigue testing is described which makes possible the design of similar samples of different materials. The specimens have equivalent vibration characteristics and the same magnification factor. For a given sample an analogue can be obtained by multiplying its geometrical data with the quotient of the new to a given wavelength.
