Abstract
Various complex vibration systems with two-dimensional vibration locus were developed for improving welding characteristics of ultrasonic metal welding. Ultrasonic complex vibration welding system using two-dimensional vibration stress could be applied effectively for joining same and dissimilar metal and ceramics, and has superior quality compared with conventional welding with linear vibration locus. Welding of dissimilar metal specimens are required for electronic devices and fuel cell, Li-ion battery or EDLC electrodes and the other various industry fields.
