Abstract
A method is described for obtaining ultrasonic B-scans of the heart at various phases of the cardiac cycle. Preliminary results indicate that this technique can be a valuable complement to time-position scanning of the heart and can provide useful information about the cardiac geometry. The system described can be used with any ultrasonic B-scan machine.
