Abstract
We solve the equation of motion and obtain the limit formula for radiation by a relativistic particle as its velocity approaches the speed of light. The spectral-angle distribution for the radiation is expressed in terms of the external magnetic field potential along the straight line toward which the particle trajectory tends as its energy increases. It is shown that the particle energy enters the limit formula for the radiation only as an overall multiplier and as a scale factor for the frequency and the angle between the velocity and the direction of the observer.
