Abstract

Feeling fine: Ultrafine porous V2O5 nanowires in a 3D Ni current collector are fabricated. The 3D Ni current collector not only serves as an electronic conductive substrate, but also provides a high surface area to load porous V2O5 active materials. The as-prepared sample can be used as a binder-free supercapacitor electrode, which exhibits a greatly improved electrochemical energy-storage performance.
