Abstract
Nonlinear electrodynamic studies are currently interesting, while fiber transmission is superior in the high-bit-rate long-distance communications. Hereby, for certain ultra-short optical pulses in a birefringent fiber, with the singular manifold and symbolic computation, we investigate a generalized coupled Hirota system by way of constructing one auto-Bäcklund transformation with some analytic solutions. Our results depend upon the optical-fiber coefficients in the system.
