Abstract

US-based Ultra Electronics USSI has received a $1.2 million contract award for D245XR and D350XR fuel cells, for use in Group 1 unmanned aerial systems (UAS). These advanced solid oxide fuel cell power systems provide UAS platforms with advanced sensor capabilities, extended operational range, and more than 8 h flight time in a compact UAS.
