Abstract
In the period from 2015 till today, the Republic Geodetic Authority improved the quality of real estate data. With a fully digitized system for managing geospatial data and the development of unique software systems, along with changes to outdated regulations in 2023, the company received a transparent and reliable Real Estate Cadastre of the 21st century. Through internet portals and mobile applications, free access to cadastre data is provided for all registered users, administrative bodies and holders of public authority, as well as public access to data for all citizens. In addition to technical and technological achievements, the legal regulations were changed in parallel, which led to the complete digitization of the procedure of registration in the Real Estate Cadastre through the e-Counter, and the work of geodetic organizations will also be improved with the software tool for creating a digital geodetic project. By amending the legal regulations, citizens and the economy have been enabled to have at their disposal over 5,000 counters of registered professional users, lawyers and geodetic organizations, through which they can send their requests to all organizational units of the Republic Geodetic Institute. In this way, professional users contribute to the management of real estate. Digitization of the procedure in the Real Estate Cadastre made the procedure more efficient, which resulted in savings in the state budget, and a comfortable and safe way for citizens to register in the cadastre with the help of professional users.
