Abstract
HEILMAN'S1 demonstration of the effectiveness of streptomycin against Pasteurella tularensis in vitro and in vivo has found application in the treatment of tularemia in man. The cases presented below are considered to be of interest because they report additional experience with the use of streptomycin in the treatment of tularemia. Furthermore, they afford an interesting comparison of the effectiveness of treatment of the acute and chronic phases of the disease.Case ReportsCase 1.
