Abstract
The article provides an analysis of existing concepts of knowledge economy and the possibility of their implementation in practice of the corporation the information sphere. The study of the mechanisms of knowledge bases in management systems of various branches of science, justified the practical use of knowledge bases in the economy. A methodology of assessment science-metric database, reviewed and characteristics of the largest and most respected science-metric database. The necessity and nature of the new science-metric database citation for the Ukrainian market, the need for the development of citing scientific articles in Ukraine and the world.
